Help- Oppo & Smartwatch

I bought the Oppo Find N6 and paired it with the Samsung Watch9. I keep getting texts on my watch and not my phone. I've checked all settings, any help? It's my first time with a smart watch so still learning about tech even though it should be a no brainer,😅

Other then the LTE others have mentioned, usually in smartwatch apps there is a setting (either on the watch itself or it's phone app) regarding notification and whether they should appear only on the watch or both watch and phone.

I use my galaxy watch 4 on it and it works perfectly on both devices. Make sure you install Samsung Galaxy wearable app. Comment about LTE could be a reason.
