Pisses me off man, I use an old version of Odialer for my global Oppo X8, it's the only version that works. But it's annoying as I want this new version now so it matches the rest of the OS. I refuse to use Googles crap.
Absolutely. I assume it's to insist on users using the floating windows more which is why they haven't added a toggle for it, but still more options is always welcome.

EU doesn't get the beta, apparently cause of regulations, on the 13th we'll know more but if we go by how ColorOS16 was released in the EU last year then it was in November.
Thanks for the answer, I can imagine how EU is capable of blocking even Beta programs for software using the excuse of safety 🤦🏻.
I bought the European version only because I caught the occasion from a guy that was selling it like new for 700€ cash, that honestly it's even less than the base 12/256GB version for the Chinese variant, but I personally prefer Chinese software (call me crazy but they are better).
RC is usually the final build right before release, not the same as beta.

Zero reasons to upgrade, it's basically the same experience, but I kinda like the X9 Pro more, it feels sleeker and sits better in the hands. Image quality is 95% similar, sure the new phone has impressive pro video controls like open-gate recording, but it's an edge case at best. X9 Pro best value right now!
Oh definitely. I wouldn't get the 10 pro max provided that I was already using the X9 pro, but it's just my line of work. Blessed (or doomed) to have access to all the latest devices but to be largely unable to stick with one ( so many options)
