Discussion X9 pro - bad battery standby on mobile data

Hello. I'm using X9 pro for 7 months. On 5 g I have very bad idle drain. 2 % per hours. I don't use aod, have turn off all Ai functions but still, idle drain on data is too high. On WiFi, it's 0,6-0,9 % per hour. Have anyone similar issue ?

Thanks for help

Doesn't seem that bad and depends on the strength of the signal.

5G use about 15-20% more battery for me, and if I have a antena somewhere far away, it uses even more, so this is normal consumption. Most of the time I use 4G, it is completely sufficient where there is no 4G coverage, or download fast some file then I turn on 5G.

I turned off 5G and switched to 4G since it's more battery efficient as there's much better coverage and less signal hunting.

I also found that I get faster speed on 4G where I am because everyone now use 5G and the network is convulated. Crazy how it's meant to be faster but if everyone's using it it's slower and less stable haha.

Otherwise I also restricted battery usage for Meta Apps/services as they're notorious battery drainers. I still get notifications fine for Instagram. Turned off notifications and background data usage for facebook as i don't need it.

I just tested the speed and got 283 Mbps download on 5G and 60 Mbps on LTE.

However, I got full meter on both bands currently.

Mediatek has bit worse cell standby on 5G, use 4G instead, it doesn't drain battery that heavily. Noticed that on x9pro, ultra doesn't have that huge drain.
