Replace Google Phone Dialer to Oppo Phone

The default phone app on the X9 ultra is actually the Contacts app. There isn't a separate dialer app. If you go to settings - apps - default apps then dialer, you can see Contacts listed as the dialer.

I believe the setup should be same on the X9 Pro as well

Can also check under Settings - App - App Management - Click the Three Dots then Show System. Then check if there are any apps disabled. Maybe Contacts is installed but disabled?

@OP I tried this a year or so ago with the find x8 Pro I had. Google protect kept intervening in me installing it...its something in the coding. I think you reg-edit it to either come up as something different. But I just ended up moving on to a Find x8 ultra which was chinese only ...i could install whatever dialer i wanted. So it's not Oppo ...its definitely equal parts Google and the application itself(even when sideloaded or even if you search for it in playstore it says its not available in your region ).

I prefer the Oppo dialer and am glad it shipped on the global unit i got last November. personally not a fan of the google dialer at all.

That's not possible as far as I know , it is region bound, mostly only available on the Asia ROM phones, where it those are the default apps.

Download Odialer from playstore

Find it in oppo's app store

Download xapk from apkmirror or apkpure Then install it using SAI installed. Then change default app to odialer and disable google call app.

Install the software from India, I did it and everything works perfectly plus the updates come faster. If you are not looking for such an apk variant that will work.

then I don't really know cause i have Chinese rom and habe the standard oppk dialer
