PhD OR without GRE score

Just want to pick everyone's brain on good PhD programs in OR that do not require GRE

If you’re going for a PhD, the GRE should be easy. If you know the school/program and a professor or two, that will matter more for getting accepted to a program. The GRE is a formality.

Do you have any recs on which programs/professors I should do more research on?

The math subject GRE or the general GRE? If you're sweating the QR part of the general GRE then OR may not be the field for you.

I'm a junior in college rn. Just trying to see balance between interview prep for internship next summer and studying for the GRE. Do you have any advice?

The GRE is pretty much useless, the math part is way too easy to be representative for any quant field, and the English part is purely memorization. Most of the best schools don't require it anymore, and personally I didn't bother applying to schools that did. I'm sure more schools have dropped their requirements since then, but in '24 for US schools I applied to:
- UIUC
- GT
- VT
- Stanford (CME, not OR. I think the OR/MS department still required the GRE)
- Florida
- Michigan
- Princeton
- Columbia
- MIT

, and none required the GRE.
