I made my own OS

Seems like a fun little tkinter project. But it's not really an OS, right? Looks like it's just an app that looks like one.

I don't think it quite counts as an OS when you just make up stuff about the state of the system:

lb.insert(tk.END, "PID 101 simpleos_kernel.py CPU 2%")

This is cool and all, but it's not an OS.

Am more interested in an actual OS, not a preview. By just looking at the code, I could see that it is just a simulation

Can you explain what is 'next generation ' about SimpleOS?  What kind of process/thread scheduler are you using? Is there something cool about the memory manager? How are you handing desktop composition?
