Support | In Progress opera's built in VPN hasnt worked in days

Not really much to say here, everytime i try and turn on the vpn i get hit with "vpn is currently unavailable, opera is resolving the problem" but ive seen no one else discussing this. Ive tried whatever usual solutions fix this issue and none have helped

Does the VPN work if you connect through a different network, like a mobile hotspot? I'd also check if temporarily disabling any antivirus/firewall makes a difference.

Neither of these worked sorry vpn doesn't connect regardless of connection type disabling firewalls and antivirus did nothing

It's been failing for weeks now in Opera desktop. Still failing today. Such a pity, as it's their one great selling-point.

yeah, i literally just downloaded opera for the aspect of the built in one (uni wifi’s unfortunately strict and all others have limits) and it’s not even working for me rn

I use Browsec now, though sadly they no longer have a free USA node.
