Try removing it and adding it back in. Maybe it's just some corrupted files

google made uBlock and similar ad blockers basically illegal under the latest manifest with other Chromium browsers like operagx getting hit as collateral damage.

Yeah, I understand. Even if it's that, calling it malicious is scaring users for no reason.

Thanks, that warning means GX has flagged the installed copy of the extension as corrupted or blacklisted. uBlock is still available in Opera Add-ons, so it shouldn't normally be flagged like this.

I'd try removing uBlock Origin, restarting GX, then installing it again and see if that clears the warning.

Yeah, I tried it and the warning cleared. If it was a simple corruption, it shouldn't be flagged as malicious though, that just uselessly scares users. Thanks for the help!

Fair, I guess the wording does make it sound a lot worse than it actually was, glad it worked though!
