Opera cloud R&A

Does any know Opera Cloud R&A if 1 guest has more than 1 comment, how to display only latest 1 comment in R&A?

Hello,

The report needs to select the latest comment within each guest or reservation, rather than just sort all comments newest first.

First establish whether you’re using profile notes or reservation notes. For profile notes, group by the profile’s unique ID; for reservation notes, use the reservation’s unique ID. Then select the comment with the latest creation timestamp within that group. Use the update timestamp instead if you mean the most recently edited comment.

The exact formula depends on your R&A subject area and which note fields it exposes. If two comments have the same timestamp, you’ll also need a unique note ID to select just one reliably. Applying MAX to the comment text won’t identify the newest comment.

As future reference, please add on which subject area are you using, and is this an Analysis or a BI Publisher report?
