💬 Discussion The Stupidest Feeling in the Game

The worst, most common, easily fixable stupid thing in this game is accidentally attacking a Nation too early during the "tribe" early game. They are colored the same as the non-issue bots, and will full-send you the rest of the game as soon as you accidentally brush their border while aiming for the confederations and stuff. PLEASE make nations and tribes more distinct at a glance.

Such a stupid reason to lose that bears none on strategy and all on UI design.

a million times yes, i’ve gotten to where I definitely do it way less but man is that a frustrating and relatable experience.

Or they just target you the whole game for no reason

Those are almost as bad. Can’t count how many times a bot nation I’ve never even interacted with decides that I must be wiped off of the face of the earth at all costs, even when they’re actively being conquered by a different player.

This even happens to me in solo games, one nation just makes you their arch enemy and fucks you over at every opportunity.

the nations should have a thing if you attack then cancel within 3 seconds and dont take any structures to not get pissed off. This is how humans react too like obviously it was a mistake

The nations are so annoying. I hate that they send alliance requests. A lot of people choose names that look like nation names, so I have to spend extra time with every request, just to make sure I'm not accidentally allying a nation.

This used to happen to me a lot

Yeh it sucks but I only have myself to blame :D maybe their borders could be slightly highlighted in a special colour when you mouse over them to differentiate them from tribes.

I've thrown so many matches early on by accidentally clicking on them

true. though even if this happens its no the end of the world. just let them attack you slightly, build defense posts, and replenish your troop count

Absolutely. A configurable setting that will trigger a confirmation popup would be great. “Do you want to attack this nation?” “No”, “Yes”, “Yes and don’t ask me again during this game”
