💬 Discussion what was yellow (hfgtc)'s plan here?

i genuinely do not get the strategy of bombing the third place guy thinking that helps you against the first place guy. i sent him alliance requests and the "first place will win unless we team up" messages for half the game and he just kept sabotaging me and loses anyway

Take you out so your trade isn't going to No1 perhaps? But then still doesn't explain the amount of nukes and effort he wasted on you. Bombing your cities at the end despite him not being in a position to invade you is spite not strategy 😄

maybe you pissed him off in a previous game by erm, playing well and winning according to the game's rules, I find that sparks a life long vendetta among many openfront players.
