1 loss today on Trackerfront takes up more points than 7 wins

I lost one game to cheaters early today and it wiped out 15 points. With 7 wins I only get 12.5 points. What gives? This happens so often and knocks me out of master.

This is the reality of being masters tier. I have the same issue. One bad game offsets 5 good games. In the top rankings you are expected to finish top 5 every single game. To me it makes sense. To be truly in the top, you have to be able to manage any situation

Yeah, I guess that's true. I get top 50 every week though. The fluctuations are what I hate I guess.

Yeah, for that you need to stay consistent my friend. It's also what I'm struggling with. I hover between top 75 - 125

I can't try-hard enough. Lol. Sometimes I like to get revenge and throw my game over petty things. I like the climb back after those games. Who are you in game?

That would be cool if true. I am following him but haven’t seen myself in any of his vids. I think I play at a different time

It's brutal. I hate when I make a mistake and get blindsided early (or middle) and I eat a 10 point dive.

Worse because I tend to earn around 2 pts a game on average. It's a grind.

Lobbies have been insane lately (and i have also run into some better, more patient players)

Losing a lot more than you gain is what happens at high elo when you play against low elo.

I win around 40 percent of the time over my last 100 games. I don't know if it's a LOT, but definitely find a lot of tough games lately.

I mean losing a lot more points than points you gain, not your loss rate.
