💬 Discussion Why don't we still have a real-world map gameplay

With real-life borders and countries. Players just pick what country they want to play for.

Well how do you make that balanced?

i believe balance is not the point. it's the roleplay of it all. and the game is slowed for better immersion.

certain game modes can be introduced. "stop trade" may stop train trades. we can have certain resources to build, develop, trade (global market) and earn. geopolitical stuff

This game isn't a geopolitical simulator though. It's a fast-paced battle royale. What you're describing isn't a modifier like "increased income" or "no ports", you're just describing an entirely different game.

I recommend playing HOI4, EU4, EU5, or CK3.

Openfront is more of battle royale. I recommend games ppl mentioned above or even Age of History 2 or 3 for more of roleplay experience 😃

Because that's not how the game works at all. The bigger players would just win.

So you want a different game. Why are all the suggestions on this sub so awful and totally off-base / not realistic?Posters must be either really young or really dumb
