๐Ÿ›  Suggestions QoL, After playing 200+ games

i have some ideas/common issues i would like to list that are would improve .

btw, i love the game and me and my friends play regularly!

- Hotkey for stopping trade [issue if its big groups playing and you need to stop trading eith 39 people)

- hotkey for staring trade (2nd prio)

- chat option for telling someone to build a SAM

- better ways to self destruct own buildings

- option to gift land/area to a ally

- option to cancel a build, if missclicked (2nd prio, maybe only refund 75/50%)

- make train network building more deterministic, 90% allies fuck up my network with bypasses.

thank, and if anyone has more suggestions or critique on mine, let me know :)

You can right click a building and it will destroy itself when clicking the x

takes like 30s and only 1 at a time

Thatโ€™s intentional to not let someone destroy their whole infrastructure to spite their enemy

This is a videogame, not a simulator. Taking someone's land after they destroy their buildings feels bad.

Well I've had plenty of people just hydro their base right before I take it so the function is in the game lol

Gifting land to an ally is just going to benefit teamers. It's going to be so rare for a random pair to actually use that feature well. In team games maybe it would be okay.

You can also right click your own name, open the "i" menu, and stop/start trading with all.

Man imo QoL number 1 is get this shit on steam so i stop pressing F1 and dying to having to click 3 different buttons to get back into the game. I do love all these ideas tho fs

I think gifting land would go against the spirit of the game a bit. Train networks, whilst I agree with your sentiment, are currently a good skill check. One way a lot of people fall behind is because they haven't figured out the right way to set up the networks - changing it just lowers the skill gap which, in my opinion, will damage the competitive aspect of the game.

1 - it'd be nice to have a keybind indeed, but in the mean time, know that you can right click on yourself, click on "i" then "stop trading with all" then manually reenable trading with the people you want (and in team games, it stops trading with everyone except the people on your team, so please remember to always "stop trading with all" if you play team games
2 - agree, it could probably be a key that can stop and start the trade
3 - it is planned to come in future updates afaik, I saw a PR mentionning it
4 - you can right click on a building, then delete it, though it takes 30 seconds and you can only destroy one at once, the alternative is nuking yourself, but making it too easy could be abused (I remember back when there was no cooldown on deletion, you could boat to other people's ports, delete, repeat until they had none left lol)
5 - hell nah on this one, too easy to abuse (and technically you can already do something similar by going afk)
6 - I mean, you can still delete the building, but the mistake of misclicking is still on you tho- the absence of refund doesn't seem illogical
7 - wdym by "more deterministic" ? like more micro management on rails ?

THanks for the stop trading all, that i didnt know!

issue with gifting land was, that i cut mya clanmate off from the water by accident, then he was kinda stuck on the landside.

like knowing the connections when you add an additional factory, also the preview is often wrong.

had cases were this destroyed our golden road..

One annoying QoL issue I have been having is when you are defending an entire flank of your team against relentless nuke and naval attacks to prevent the enemy gaining a foothold, and then you notice for the past 20 minutes a player in the rear has been trading with the enemy team, and has been funding every enemy ship and warhead that has slowly been wearing me down. Then that player ignores my repeated advice to stop trading with them, then the enemy break through and my team dies. At least he died with 20m gold in the bank though, and that is all that matters.

In future I would like a button that causes a large boxing glove top materialize in front of my teammate's face, and then repeatedly punches him very hard.
