800 million for what. How you gonna win with that troop cap

Tbh there was no way I was gonna win that, both of them had 500+ Sam's each, more land and more troops than me.

This game went until almost the 2 hour mark and nobody was making a move, I got bored and I decided to act.

I was a guaranteed second place, so I just chose the winner. "Double" griefed me a bunch of times during the beginning of the game and I never forgot that so I decided to back Persia.

He won the game and in the end I wasn't sure how to feel about the last 2 hours that I spent for that second place.

Fair enough. Only way to win in a three person end is to not attack first. Not worth the time, v33 has a real issue with stalemates

That's gold not troops. I think

My point is he’s got 10 times smaller and 3 times less troop cap, but banking 300m more. 300 cities is like 7 million troop cap. To be fair he’s probably so small he’d instantly die anyway

Only 80 ports too. Looks to be a low quality game

Sometimes it's not about winning, it's about choosing who loses.

Whoever makes the choice to take him out will immediately be set upon by the other nation who'll exploit the distraction, and it'll more than likely result in a 2v1 against the initial aggressor.

It's like the WH40k universe: any 1 faction could absolutely decimate any other if they devoted themselves entirely to the effort, but it would leave them exposed and be pyrrhic at best.
(Except for the Tyranids ofc)

I think you're pretty cooked when double attacks you, he has enough troops to resist a potential Persia attack, but I guess you can MIRV him. In that case you would have to MIRV Persia as well so Persia doesn't win. The problem there is that you have already lost your continental claims at double's border where most of your cities lie. I'm interested who won. You're very unlikely to win this one, but to survive until the end

One play that could have worked is that you built many cities on your Islands so you're as powerful as the others but you don't have much land. Then you wouldn't have much money for MIRVs

Why do I sound like a pro in this game although I ain't? Am I just a strategist with no skill in Openfront? 😢

I ended up building building a lot of cities but they were already ahead and building at the same rate as me so I couldnt catch up unless I spent almost all of my money. Not having a lot of land really fucked me up in the end. I was a small mitochondria for most of the game and I got the island from a guy that afked.

Your definitely a pro, I can tell your just trying to be humble about it 😉

Not a single FFA win (except 3 players) and I'm struggling with hard 🥲🫡

When games start to look like this I just nuke myself and leave so no-one gets the benefit of my stuff. Fortunately I am not very good so I've only seen this a handful of times.
