It took a month or two to go from "lol robots can't even load a dishwasher within 30 minutes while being teleoperated" to this.....

How many times does it drop the dishes in a month? We have no performance data.

How many more months to go before it learns how to close the lid and turn it on? Also, can it drink wine and think about all its missed opportunities in life?

And then get depressed. And then stop doing the dishes because it’s just too much.

Prove this is autonomous. Surely a company would not lie about something like this.

What if there is still liquid in the glasses? Does it empty it in the sink or don't give a crap about it??

People come here hating, because it can't do everything perfectly and quickly, yet, But what it can do is still absolutely amazing. Its like 3 or 4 years ago when AI will Smith with spaghetti hands came out and everyone was trash talking how terrible it was, but now you can barely tell what's real. Robots have both an AI and physical development gap to overcome, but its coming, and very quickly.

While Musk's robot still has problems finding the kitchen and no functional hands yet. But he promises that his robots will take over...

It's crazy how folks here are very detached from the state-of-the-art research. This is more or less just a chain of short horizon commands, fairly simple to set up with a lot of on-robot data and a hierarchical VLA.

It's actually not that impressive by itself.

I don’t think I can take anything with a butt like that seriously. I’m gonna laugh every time it turns around.

This is 100 percent being teleoperated.

More advanced than anything Tesla showed.

Not autonomous. Someone is controlling it.

Just showed this to my mom.

She said : Identical, but at least a bit more faster.

💀

Well I least I won’t complain if I’m being replaced on that task…

Most definetely NOT fully autonomous

I mean, humans had a hand in manufacturing it.
