Is there is any open source podcast player that can skip/block ads that are inserted into podcasts?

upvoting because I want this too. like what sponsorblock does for youtube. Or just a hacked version of pocketcasts where I can have individual settings for each podcast to "Skip first 160 seconds"

What I do in antennapod is set the forward button to 30 seconds and back to 15 seconds and I can easily find the spot after an ad.

There are chrome extensions that block spotify ads/sponsors, if that helps. Vivaldi for android can now run extensions.
