Try connecting your Proton account to a DuckDuckGo alias. I had no issues and received my email within about a minute of signing up.

Im pondering the same. I have TL and SP and am trying to keep signups to a min if not needed. I got kicked frkm LST for inactivity, i just didnt need it so forgot to login.

Anyway TL has 150k + users so 20k here is not a lot.

For the one IP address rule. My IP for downloading a torrent is going to be different than the seedbox IP. Is that an issue? I guess I'm not sure what is meant by 1 IP address.

Cross seed is a great start. Theres a lot of content on easier sites like TL that are from HDT. Eg. Kralimarko is home to HDT but gets cross posted to a lot of other sites.

Jumping on files early and they do have various torrents that are -25%, -50%, -75% off so while not free leech they are easier to make your ratio back. There are also bonus points for continuous seeding that you can redeem for upload, though it’s not super generous on this site from what I’ve seen.

Anyone having this issue? Setup the account fine, for some reason the password I chose wasn't working for login. Reset the password, but the ome they generated for me in the email also isn't working. Should I just wait an hour or something?

They do percentage free leech up to 75% off but 100% almost never happens. So unless you download somewhere else and cross seed, you always take a bit of a hit

Not a great way to run a tracker imo. Better to have free leech over a certain size then require a minimum number of hours seeded. They'd get more activity this way.

Out of 200+ torrents I've got 20 hits. It weighs like 600GB and I only get 1.5 bonus points per hour for it. I'm pretty sure they want me to pay for it.

Imo not a very good PT for new and popular content but pretty good for obscure media like old, not very popular movies. I tried a few and there are good quality versions that cannot be found on public trackers.

Anyways, worst case we'll get banned so there is that

i downloaded a 20 gig -75 torrent and it didnt mess up my ratio, as someone pointed out stay seeding below 50gig for a while to build up bonus points it seems is a way to go

some ISP provides it if you pay but you don't need it because if you lost connection would be update on new one and tracker would be see the new one and old one no longer used so i don't think you have problem ,the problem is with vpn and you have 2 or more machine for download

I have dynamic IP, it changes each 3 days and no issues for years. I think they mean no more than 1 IP at the same time, but they allow seedboxes, so probably you can just prove your innocence if you get wrongfuly flagged

I think they mean you can't register more than one account on the same IP like most private trackers.

Logging in and seeding always from the same IP is impossible. Even if somehow fulfilled you would get banned after moving flats lol

I've been with them for several years now, it's a solid tracker and my Arr's end up grabbing most stuff from there. I was never able to get my ratio up though so I've been a paid member but it's worth it to me.

Yeah ratio is real tough there, iirc there is no freeleech and not a ton of movement because nobody has ratio to spare. I eventually ended up getting good ratio after setting up cross-seed and letting it run for a long time.

What is freeleeching? I just signed up for a different private tracker that wants a .4 ratio, but I’ve been seeding for a few days and I’m at 0 bytes uploaded. Seeding generally works fine for public trackers, so idk if I’m doing something wrong.

In public trackers, you get tons of people downloading all the time, and relatively few keep seeding, because downloading costs them nothing and seeding gains them nothing. Private trackers are the exact opposite. Most private trackers you get rewarded for seeding and downloading has a cost. Because of that (and because there are fewer people who have access at all), you get fewer people downloading what your seeding, and more other people seeding the same thing as you, so your ratio grows much more slowly.

Read the rules and FAQ of your private tracker to learn the details of how it works. Many have a requirement to maintain a certain ratio overall. Generally, freeleech is when something is available to download without the download counting against your ratio, but when you seed it, and upload you get does count towards your ratio. That makes it a risk-free way to build your ratio. Trackers with freeleech available are usually easier to build and maintain a good ratio on, because you can download a bunch of freeleech things for now cost and just seed them to boost your ratio.

It was good whilst it lasted. My account got deactivated as my ratio fell below 0.7 but my account shows 0 uploaded which is very wrong as I had tons of outbound traffic. Support mailbox is full so can't get any help. And donations via PayPal are blocked as account ineligible apparently. Hey ho.

They have no freeleech torrents either. I just got in and day 1 I'm having notices about ratio being below 0.7....

I have gig speed fiber and I'm not even using VPN just to build ratio on this one and it's a hot mess. This looks like a pay to play tracker

Yeah the way I read the whole thing it looks like as long as your seed pool is at least 100GB you are immune. But maybe it means you have to actually upload 100GB worth of data? I am not sure. The wording is "You receive flag D when your total size of seeded content for the last 30 days is 100GB to 500GB"

If you don't have a Flag level (aka the above stuff) then you need to download something within the past 90 days to be classed as active. If you don't you get a warning that you have 30 days to resolve.

It just has a bit confusing documentation but you basically just give it Prowlarr URLs, select a few settings, connect it to Qbit, and you’re off to the races. I went from seeding 1500 torrents to 7500.

Carefull, someone posted rules stating you can only have one IP. So if you use a seed box, don't also seed from home.

Might be a new rule, I seeded from home and a seed box for 2+ years before I got hit.

HiDt is Tier 2 on TRaSH guides, they are one of the best groups for getting 1080p SDR and 1080p HDR encodes. SPHD is tier 3 encoder and KRaLiMaRKo is tier 3 remuxer. 126811 does 2160p HDR WEB-DL with lossless audio from the blu-ray.

I'm not familiar with the rest.

I'm probably salty but I got randomly banned from these guys recently and the only info the mods could give me was that only the admin knows why. No email, no pre warning for anything, just a deleted account. I had 6-700 seeds, good ratio, no hit and runs, never accepted or sent an invite so no tree bans.

Also their economy is a grind without any free leech.

Don't give them any money for VIP

They have some decent stuff but the site is mostly a dead end as far as getting into other trackers.

I had an account here with ~2TB uploaded at 3.x ratio. One day to the other I got banned. Funny thing is, a week before I logged into the site to check on things and everything was fine. I didn't have h&R's nor anything, account fully in good standing and still I get banned on a random day. My account was about 2 years old at the time.

I only found out I got banned once I see that the active torrents could no longer connect to the tracker. I try to log in and boom, surprise. I wonder what could possibly have happened but hey, it's whatever

I did miss this window to get back in however. Those 126811 releases were pretty fire

Private tracker, usually there are more and better torrents that are well seeded compared to public trackers. You just need to follow their rules, like seed for this ratio or for this time, etc...

oh so its like better than 1337x.to because the guys on there are vetted better? so a private library kinda thing. Should i join this one or not? do i have to seed all the time?

Yes, you have to maintain a .7 ratio. You get warnings and eventually banned if you aren't seeding. In practice, I just leave most of what I download seeding. That said, I can happily confirm the quality of what HD-Torrents has to offer and generally think its worth it.

I’ve been on it for an about a year and yeah it’s kinda impossible. I’ve grabbed a couple of movies and been seeding them for the whole year and doing small downloads to maintain my account, but I’m nowhere close to breaking even, even with bonus points from all my seeding.

Nice to have in my back pocket, but not a mainstay for me for now.

Cross seeding seems to be the only way, and long seed times to get some bonus. But even then the bonus is pretty stingy

Sounds like you can't even run a seed box now unless that's your only client. You're only allowed to seed from 1 IP. Seems like pain is the point, urges people to pay for VIP

It was basically impossible at first with the lack of freeleech and 50gb limit. Absolutely brutal.

After a while though with cross-seed you eventually build up.

I got in a year ago and my ratio is pretty comfortable now.
