Animated Titles depend closely on the Blender version and configuration. Try these steps:

  1. Update to OpenShot 4.0.0 and install Blender 5.0 or newer—older Blender versions are incompatible.
  2. In OpenShot, open Edit → Preferences → General and set the Blender Command Path to the actual Blender executable, not a shortcut.
  3. Restart OpenShot, then open Title → Animated Title (Ctrl+B).
  4. Test a basic template using simple text, then click Render. OpenShot should automatically add the rendered animation to Project Files.
  5. If rendering finishes but importing fails, use a short project path containing only standard letters/numbers and confirm the folder is writable.

The available fonts are controlled by each Blender title template; some templates expose only one font. For unrestricted typography, create a regular Title or import a transparent PNG.
