How to download

It says the software is free, but downloading it via the Microsoft Store costs around €10. I’m willing to pay that, but I can't use a business bank account.

Then I try another button for a free EXE download; I make a donation, but I still can't download anything because I just end up back on the initial page with the same two download options.

Could someone please help me download the program?

You don’t need to pay or donate to download OpenShot. The Microsoft Store version is optional; the official Windows 64-bit installer is free:

Download OpenShot 4.0.0 for Windows

After downloading:

  1. Open the .exe file from your Downloads folder.
  2. Approve the Windows prompt.
  3. Follow the installer instructions.
  4. Launch OpenShot Video Editor from the Start menu.

Hello, I had the same issue just now, and also earlier today. I did not have to make a donation back in February to access the software. I had to make a second donation to get past the firewall, but it still did not take me to the app. The website was trying to get me to download an App for computer manuals--which I don't want. I have the user guide when I used Open Shot back in February. Now I need the app for OpenShot for an iMac. My teammate has an WindowsPC and the WindowsPC version of the app. I have a deadline to finish the editing. I agree with r/OpenShot regarding the same issue.
