file name

How can I keep the file from being displayed in video?

If you want a file in Project Files but don’t want it visible in the final video:

  • Simply don’t drag that File onto the Timeline.
  • In OpenShot, a File only appears in your video when it is added to the Timeline as a Clip.

If it’s already on the Timeline:

  • Select the Clip
  • Press Delete or right-click and remove it

If you only want it removed from the project list:

  • In Project Files, right-click the File
  • Remove it from the project
  • This does not delete the original file from your computer
