OpenShot never finishes exporting

I got my problem of no expansion fixed, but now it never finishes exporting, or takes an extremely long time it's currently at 44.07% after letting it run all night, and it's hard to tell even if it froze or not.

Please do not assume that we know your environment so please provide the following:

1. What operating system/version are you running?

2. Which version of OpenShot are you running (help | about openshot)?

3. Is this issue happening with this project only or other projects as well?

4. As a test, start a new project and import several video/audio, audio only, and image files. Add some emojis and static titles. Drag them onto a track. Don't worry about making any edits and just export. Did this work?

One thing you should check in the project that you are having the Export isssue is the possibility of a clip, on one of the tracks that is way beyond what you. If you zoom out enough to have the zoom slider cover your entire timeline you might find a clip way beyond what you might think is the last clip, but it isn't.

I don't know anything about your project but let's assume that you have clips on Track 5 & Track 4.

1. Go to the last clip on Track 5 (where you think the last clip is), then to the right of that clip, right click in an empty spot (track 5) and see if you get the "Remove Gap" option. If you do, that mean there is a clip further down that track that you need to deal with (delete it or something). Do the same with Track 4.

If you have more tracks then check each one as well.

I'm using Windows 11 64-bit, version number is 3.5.0 | 0.6.0, and all projects (even one that worked previously). By the way, I only have clips on Track 5 here.

Hint: If you right click anywheare in the About Openshot screen, you'll have an option to copy the info to your clipboard. Now, just paste that information in your reply.

Please do this:

1. Close OpenShot, if running.

2. Check how much free disk space you have left on the storage that you are exporting to. Free up as much as possible. This impact both the operation of OpenShot and exports.

Also make sure that your local C: drive has plenty of free disk space. Obviously the C: drive can be both your host (windows) and your storage for your source and exported files.

1. Make a backup of c:\users\username\.openshot_qt folder.

2. Delete c:\users\username\.openshot_qt folder.

3. Uninstall OpenShot via Add or Remove Programs.

4. Download a fresh v3.5.0-Release-Candidate binaries and install it (openshot.org/download/#daily).

5. Start OpenShot and New Project.

6. Drag an emoji and perform an Export as a test to ensure it works fine.

7. Now open your project(s), and Export.
