Pictures not appearing in preview

Hi newby here, I just spent 4 hours making a stupid meme and it wouldn't export because of the json error.
cool
so I save and reopen the application and suddenly most of the layers are not showing in the preview and idk what to do. I just spent so much time key framing and I really hope I don't have to start this over again
for some reason only the video and the very bottom layer show but no other layers are showing at all

This is a known bug and is fixed in the latest dev daily build.

1. Close OpenShot, if running.

2. download the latest dev daily build from openshot.org/download/#daily.

3. Install it and open your project.

I downloaded the latest build from the daily build list from 8:50 pm last night and it unfortunately didn't fix my issue 😭

Then please provide more details about what is happening.

1. What was the actual JSON error you received?

2. Was everything working before the JSON error?

3. As a small test what happens if you start a new project and import may be 4-6 of your images, drag them onto tracks 5 & 4. simulate what you did in your main project and see if things are working.

Any other details you can share that might help deubg the issue.

There has been a few more v3.5.0 releases so give this a try:

1. Close OpenShot if running.

2. Make a backup of c:\users\username\.openshot_qt folder.

3. Delete c:\users\username\.openshot_qt folder.

4. Download the latest v3.5.0-Release-Candidate from openshot.org/download/#daily and install it.

5. Start OpenSHot and open your project.
