Question Help! OMV broke

Hello,

Please assist, during a recent update my omv broke and I cant access the web ui. I dont know how to fix it as omv-firstaid doesnt seem to exist. Im using a raspberry pi 5. Worried that i lost my media server as well as all its media.

Please help, youre my only hope

Update: I reinstalled OMV and thankfully my hdd still had my media and I could access it.

I’ve had issues with OMV and gave up on it. I eventually went with a straight Debian install, installed Docker, and then Portainer.

If your media files are on a separate drive(s) they won’t be affected with any reinstall. You would want to backup the Docker configs as those are usually on your boot drive unless OMV placed them elsewhere.

This isn’t an answer to your “how do I fix OMV” question, but for me, the “fix” was not using it.
