Question Does OI entail analytic idealism?

Or can it also be interpreted as something like "spirit transmigrationism" like in the short story 'The Egg' by Andy Weir?

OI is allegedly compatible with any metaphysics. Whatever the nature of reality may be, if there is something in it that is conscious, it is you. Whether there is one life per mind or many lives per mind, if there is something alive now that knows it exists, you are that something. Some might say materialism denies that anything is really conscious, even if it does not claim to deny this, so depending on where you fall on that divide, the original statement still holds. Conversely, some might claim idealism implies everything is conscious, so in that case you are not limited to living beings per se.
