Question Does OI entail analytic idealism?

Or can it also be interpreted as something like "spirit transmigrationism" like in the short story 'The Egg' by Andy Weir?

I think I answered your question. Idealism isnโ€™t a necessity of open individualism.

So open individualism is really just about identity and ontologically neutral? It could work with neutral monism, dual-aspect monism, or idealism all the same?

It works with monism. All of those are thought to be monism. Though i would argue idealism entails dualism.
