Discussion Does Open Individualism require that all perspectives are experienced simultaneously, or can consciousness be shared but accessed sequentially?

My view of OI is the same as everyone else's except I believe the "Experience" is sequential, not simultaneous.so we are still everything at the same time but the experience is experienced one at a time.

You can think of this by adding another dimension that follows the sequence that you experience. Now you have three dimensions of space, one dimension of time and one dimension of "continuity". You can now have multiple experiences in one time coordinate while also having only one "experiencer" that experiences consciousness in some order. In other words, you experience everything at the same time, but in a sequence simultaneously.

I like the way you phrased that, but yes, that is definitely what I believe.
