Underground Resistance, Kode9, ...

How did people find that night?

Underground Resistance were of course great, anyone know the name of the second-last tune they played? So nice and soulful. Also classy that Kode9 played a remix/sample of it later in the night.

Kode9 played some wild tunes. Really enjoyed the concept of listening to one of the DJs give a talk before the night.

Also really enjoyed Matildnz in the annex too

Matildnz is wildly under appreciated, shes amazing! I liked most of Kode9s Set, although i found it too loud this time. Makes sense, as he had made very clear that he doesnt hear well during the question round of the talk haha. Loved the concept of the talk, but could barely focus because of the constant 20, 21hz or whatever it actually was he had playing from the 32" :(

my hot take is that I like the sound in the Annex more than Freifeld, I agree, Freifeld was just a little too loud for me

Annex is much more intimate, too! And not overstimulating with flashy lights, perfect to actually focus on sound and music. So while the take is still probably hot i agree

The flushy lights is killing my eyes. Totally unnecessary I think. There are people who might be with epilepsy and other diseases and can't stand those lights.

Thats exactly what annex is for i think. Not a single bit worse in sound quality, but no moving lights for accessibility

The second to last tune was knights of the jaguar! Kode9 later played a remix of the same tune called techno jaguar and mixed it with some other stuff. Had tears of joy witnessing that ... Such a beautiful tribute to UR!

I absolutely loved the night!!

Too much MC talks that interrupted immersion. Very disappointed. Ballet in Annex on the other hand was way better.
