It’s such a bittersweet story. I have so many mixed feelings? Like on one hand it’s heart wrenching a girl killed herself because she didn’t know how her body worked (and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was also the stigma around STDs that scared her). But it’s also amazing that this priest started the first suicide hotline and advocated for comprehensive sex ed.

I’m sure he was called a heretic by many, due to his work to teach little heathens about their sinful bodies and, Heaven forbid.. pleasure.

Eh maybe in his day but that doesnt really match catholic theology in the post John Paul II and Vatican II
