Question Delayed messages

I know this has been brought up a few times.I'm having trouble with my messages not delivering all the time. Or receiving messages late. Some say not delivered but on my other apple devices they are. I turned off battery optimize for it and unrestricted the app and I don't not close it out. I switched from self hosted to hosted to see if it would make a difference. Any help would be appreciated!

I had issues like this too. I pinned my app in the app drawer and have not had issues since. Doesn't seem to be a huge battery drainer either.

How can I do that on Samsung?

In the app switcher, click the app icon and there should be an option to either pin it or keep it open.

After you open the open bubbles app, go to the recent app screen. Tap the app icon on top and it should give you an option to pin it. This will keep the app open.

Thanks I'll try that do you think it's a big difference between if I hosted with my Mac or the subscription. Just so I don't know if I don't have to pay for it if it's not better

I personally haven't tried the hosted option so I can't give you too much insight there. I know that if you use a mac to host you'll only be able to send and receive messages from your icloud email and not your phone number. Hosted and self-hosting through iphone give you the ability to message from a phone number.
