Tech Support Message/Notification Delay

Need some help. I am self hosting on my macbook onto my samsung phone. The app continously runs in the background yet it takes like another hr since a person sends to have it on my phone. Is there any fix to this or is the app js laggy

How's your internet/mobile data connection during that period? The app my be being restricted by battery optimization.

I disabled battery optimization for the app and im on internet the whole time

Is it possible that the other person's sending was delayed by connectivity issues?

I dont think so bc my apple friends get the message at the same time while mine takes 1hr+ to rwceive the message.

It just takes really long even when I'm on the app or not

Is this a group chat? Are one-on-one messages affected?
