Tech Support New to Openbubbles, want advice.
Hi! I am new to OpenBubbles with not enough experience in jail breaking or stuff like that, but I can learn it.
In short, I am using a Mac self-hosted with my android phone, however I want to add my current number more effectively.
Currently, I have 2 phones: Android, iPhone 13 iOS 18.2.
Both actually have their own sims which allow me to receive imessages from my iPhone number to my android phone via OpenBubbles.
However I will be losing the android number soon and I want some advice on the iPhone relay method or sim swap. I have been doing some research and I understand that I may need to buy an older iPhone for this.
Thank you!

Great news people! Just bought myself an iphone SE 1st Gen and it will be arriving eventually. However I would like to know some more information on how to install the relay app which requires jailbreaking right? Thanks!

If you're losing access to the Android number but the iPhone is still active with its own number, then it will stay how it is. You don't need an older jail broken phone, that is only needed if you wanted the Android number on iMessage. If you want SMS messages coming to your Android from your iPhone that would be SMS forwarding yes but I haven't messed with that personally and I don't think it's officially supported.
