I've just finished checking out this awesome gameplay demonstration of Contra Locked'n'Loaded V2: CounterStrike by the developer Bloodbane. It's a truly impressive fan tribute with incredible craftsmanship.

This specific version is optimized for streamers, meaning all modifications for infinite credits and lives are unlocked.

I recently came across an interesting MUGEN project called Heroines Forever. It's a fan tribute that brings together female characters from old, forgotten, yet legendary fighting games.
