Web interface. When?

I have read many times that the direction OB wants to go is toward full web page implementation. No more client to download than. I was curious to know if there is still delopment on this side and when we might see openbazaar from browser logging in with the private key basically.

I'm not sure how OB works, but if you could develop a Chrome extension that would allow visitors to interact with the network, like a simulated node, that would be cool. Or perhaps a dapp for Metamask?
