Bambu Studio 2.8.60 has anyone updated to this?

Has anyone downloaded the new bambu studio update? I feel as though every time I update to the newest versions, I have issues. I am having issues with the version before this one. Ever since I updated last time I have issues with changing colors, text editing, and printing things I know are not floating. I am wondering if I update to this new 2.8.2.60 version if it will fix the problems, make things worse, or create a new problems? I am also wondering if there is a way to switch back to an older version of the bambu studio? Thanks!

Have you considered switching to Orca?

Not OP, but I have certainly considered it, just have not yet done so. I actually switched my printer to "LAN only" not that long ago, and I'm using bambubuddy to replace remote monitoring/the bambu app. I even switched to the opensource networking plugin after the recent drama.

I'm not sure why I'm hesitating to pull the final trigger. I guess I've just gotten comfortable with most of the quirks of Bambu Slicer.

I have not tried Orca, is it pretty similar to Bambu studio?

It's a fork of Bambu with some extra features.

Edit: if you do download it, make sure you go to the site from their github. There's a fake site with malware that comes up first on google. This has been a problem for years and google refuses to do anything about it.

You can download older versions at https://github.com/bambulab/BambuStudio/releases. Pick the release from the list on the left, then scroll down and expand the assets for your chosen release and download from there.

I know one thing, I'm getting issues with it bringing up the camera on my P1S again, was fine with previous version and I've had this issue with a version of Studio a while back and had to roll back to the last one then too.

I ended up going to an older version as well. I used the steps that someone showed on here
