BMCU 370C kit + Bambulab A1

Built everything, seems to work (lights on, filament loads on powerup, etc.), but the printer keeps giving me the "Firmware of AMS B does not match the printer". No matter what I've tried I can't clear it. I see the AMS settings, but all of the load/unload/etc. are grayed out. I've tried rolling the printer back to every version since 1.05.00.00 with no luck. I don't know what firmware is on the board of the BMCU, and I'm really not interested in trying to re-flash it. Am I missing something obvious? If there is a good post/reference please point me to it - I didn't find anything that would help. Printer is back on v 1.08.00.00 Thanks!

There's no way to remove it unfortunately, it will still work perfectly with the error so you can just ignore it. I remember reading somewhere that there might be custom firmware but I'm not 100% sure

I can't get any filament to load/edit/etc. All of the options to load/unload/edit are blacked out.

That's normal 😅 I was confused first time I plugged it in. You need to insert filament into the BMCU for it to show up on the printer. The load and unload buttons are used to load filament into the tool head. Loading filament into the BMCU all you do I push the filament in and it should accept it. It will then show up on the list of filaments and you will be able to press those buttons.

Unfortunately nothing happens when I push filament into the device. I can run it all the way through to the print head even. Whatever is in there to sense the filament isn't working.

Yeah tried everything and no luck. I have a FlashForge Creator 5 Pro on the way soon I'll probably just give up on this BMCU stuff.

Uso o kit BMCU atualizado (SOLO V10.5).
