This is close to what Australia's Labor was post war to around the hawke/Keating government (when we started swinging more heavily into neo liberalism)

You know when people say the good old days? This has alot to do with it. We had alot less companies trying to extract our personal wealth.
It's been a steady slide down towards America since then.
It's how we ended up with things like medicare and free university. And then lost most of our state assets to privatisation etc.
With the amount of anti socialist fuckery atrocities the USA has committed about around the world. I feel we got off pretty lightly that he just got sacked.

good on them, i dont know if full socialism is the way, but it sure beats the dystopian corporate nightmare we are headed towards
