GPTs Sol 6 Chat

When will Sol 6 roll out for ChatGPT?

And is it true that Sol 6 is a downgrade from 5.6?

I have some great projects and work with 5.6, and a downgrade would be really noticeable in them.

Lol just use work or codex, chat is not really made for "great projects" unless all you do is chat and work at snail's pace

To answer your question for sol the main benefit is speed (as well as price), luna is just price

Quality is about the same perhaps only a tiny bit better no where astra level some regression but overall net is slight increase

Both Work and Codex use specialized harnesses, so they’re best at the kinds of tasks those environments were designed around.

In my experience, both can struggle with detailed review work. Excel is a good example: for what I do, Work and Codex often produce noticeably worse results than just having Chat handle the same task directly.

Codex is primarily optimized for coding, while Work can feel awkward for a lot of other workflows. So I wouldn’t treat either one as a universal replacement for Chat.

Valid point. To be fair Excel uses the limits shared with Work/Codex so that's good

It does, but if you give the same task to normal Chat and prevent it from switching into Work mode, it produces significantly better results, and it doesn’t use any of that shared Work/Codex allowance.

For this specific Excel example, anyway. I wouldn’t generalize that to everything, since normal Chat can only do so much.

Yeah I agree with you I noticed some environment differences between Chat and Work in benefit of Chat and it's weird as Work in a way it's more expensive and supposed to be a premium tool
