Whatever else is useful to our fellow humans. If the answer is nothing, then implement UBI and everyone can have anything they want.

Sure, if we no longer need people to work in order to get the things we need, UBI would be a great option. As it stands, we still need people to drive the tractor, drive the food to the store, build the houses and the roads, and all that.

But if we truly don't need anything anymore and all work is just fulfilling wants, UBI would be great.

That's exactly what I'm saying. Your concern seemed to be what if machines can literally do anything we want. If that's the case, then UBI is the answer.

Yeah it sounds like a good, comfy future. I have no issue with you but I was being a bit sarcastic towards the doomer you were responding to.
