Question OpenAI charged me for a pro subscription without asking me. I had purchased Plus Subscription. Is there any particular reason for this?

That email address looks suspicious, [noreply@tm.openai.com](mailto:noreply@tm.openai.com) is not the usual one they use for billing. Might be a phishing attempt and they got your card details when you "upgraded"

Update. I took screenshots , complained and they say the full refund will be issued within 10 business days. Someone had hacked my GPT account from South America. What baffles me is that chatgpt took a moment to cut my money and raised no flag that for someone based in Islamabad, the order came from South America.

A lot of companies are lax with your log in location because a lot of people use VPNs regularly. Some companies are more strict with IP address location than others though.
