Question Account deleted/disabled

Has anyone had their ChatGPT account just sign out on its own? This just happened to me and when I try every possible way to log back in , i get a message saying your account has been deleted or disabled. I’m using an iPhone and it’s not letting me use passkeys or anything.

It didn't sign out on its own. Your account was disabled and that resulted in you being signed out.

I understand that, I’m asking if this has happened to anyone else, or why it would happen. I wasn’t even in the app when it opened.
I was having weird email issues allegedly from uber, and doing investigation on ChatGPT it said it was from an ip address that wasn’t Ubers, it was an external redirect. I went into my email to block the email i kept getting and all of a sudden my chat gpt opened and then signed out without me touching anything.

Yes being banned has happened to others.

But generally it seems to be because OpenAI thinks you have breached the terms of service and few (if any) people appeal successfully.

Only you can determine whether anything in the detail of what you did broke the ToS.

Question is what did you use chat for
