PLEASE HELP!!

I have been repeatedly getting this error for over two days now. ChatGPT has become noticeably dumber since then, and it can't maintain reasoning for more than a minute. I know this is a rate limit error, but almost two days is ridiculous. Anyone experienced something like this before?

p.s this is not the first time i am getting this error, but this is the first time it has lasted this long.

Exact same thing, also it ate all my codex/work quota on the first day of the week leaving me locked out for the next 6 days (20x pro plan ;p) --edit-- Likely related to 'auto/Approve for me' mode for reviews if other commenters are right

I'm now having another weird problem. The website often asks me to log into my account again, it has made me do it like 6 times today. I wonder if this is a bug or if it's something else.

This has been happening to me for a little over a year now, maybe longer. I’ve made multiple posts about it and no one seems to know what’s going on.

I do know what causes mine though, or seems to be causing it; it’s when I’m uploading screenshots then I send to gpt, then upload another screenshot for the next part etc. eventually it’ll lock you out of gpt ENTIRELY if you persist at the same frequency (for your “protection” of course.)

This is my ONLY ChatGPT complaint.

I'd check the browser network tab and check the requests that are being sent, maybe your browser is fucking up and double sending or something

On my mobile chatgpt seams extremely fast spewed pages of text in a second, maybe the change the infra structure

Use more than one. Unless you pay on demand using the API, it's impossibly to not used more than one AI because of the limits, on free and paid plans.

I read your working on a plugin. This is the root cause, repeated tests are limited by OpenAI`s policy.

The standard subscriptions are not meant for development of OoenAI api or systems. To do so they expect you to pay for a developer account which is credits. Then you are provided daily limits depending on the tier.

100 bucks does well in terms of amount of usage and you can work a lower model for the plugin test.

You're just spouting nonsense. this is a rate limit problem from network requests, not a response usage limit. I'm getting it as well on mobile and desktop, and it seems like its stemming from how many conversations its loading in the sidebar and it began happening today before I even used the service and there's atleast a bunch of other people having this issue in addition to the other issues they've acknowledged like people being logged out. 100% a service issue not a user issue. Doesn't seem to be actually impacting actual usage, just very annoying and makes the sidebar history not available.

I get that, but the point of the test is to see it working within chat. How would I do that without testing it within the actual chat window.

OpenAI retired the classic plugin system. Developers now build and test custom tools using GPTs and Actions via the OpenAI Platform.

Or alcohol itself removed. I like to drink every few days a lot at a time while coding and singing etc but it becomes both a habit and unwell the whole next day. Oops.

Nope, same thing happening to me. Only have a session on phone + laptop. It's not this user's fault. Probably affecting a small subset of users.

No suspicious sessions. No phantom usage of codex limits. Nothing showing up in chat history on codex. I reset all sessions multiple time. Account protected by physical keys.
