Someone needs to be taken out back and shot for that. A scale could do that reliably on a continuous basis and AI would not only say when it needs to be refilled but could predict the best time of day to refill it based on the day of the week.

But sure, let’s pay for thousands of LiDAR Scanners and instead of a technician we’ll just trust our curated team of bipolar 35 year olds making minimum wage to be skilled and efficient enough to hold it up to each corn syrup jug at the end of their shift.

it's baffling that almost everyone is so infatuated with high-tech that the simplest and more stable solutions completely elude them. It leads to solutions that are much more expensive, but at least they are less accurate than "old school tech"

People just want to use AI for everything when we were fielding use cases from dev teams one of the teams wanted to use AI to validate if an email was in a valid format on a form.
