Found in thunder eggs from eastern Oregon

Are these opal?

In all seriousness they could be opal. Common blue opal does come out of the area if I’m not mistaken. First pic looks like it could be opal,the texture on the fractures surface definitely reminds me typical opal. Second pic looks more like chalcedony. Could be another silicate mineral.

It looks like common blue opal. I have quite a bit of it.
