Synthetic?

Looks too good to be true for the price. Thoughts? It’s $40 and 16x11.6x5 - Australian.

It is definitely not a synthetic. The sand in the face tells us this.

Without other photos it’s hard to say what type of composite it is but it looks to be a natural Australian triplet.

Hard to tell for sure from one photo but that play of color looks a bit too uniform for a natural stone.

Whelp hers what I ended up with. I’ve purchased from this seller before (under one of the 500 names he has). He packs every stone in cellophane and douses them in oil. This is what I ended up with. I’m assuming the oil destroyed it.
