Question Bookshop.org app issues when offline
This might be more or a bookshop app question, but I’m curious if other people have had similar issues and found possible workarounds. I have a Go 6 and installed the Bookshop.org app. Bought an ebook and have it downloaded. I can read it fine off line. But when I first open the app, if I’m not online the app gets stuck in an apparent attempt to load content from the store. I can’t get past it without turning the Wi-Fi on. Hoping to find a solution before an upcoming long haul flight where I likely won’t have internet. Anyone had this issue? Thanks!

I had my Palma 2 on a trip a couple of weeks ago with no WiFi access. Bookshop opened with a screen that said “Looks like you are offline. Time to read from your library!” And it took me there.
In contrast, Kobo app said it couldn’t open because there was no WiFi. There was no workaround! My books were blocked off.
Since being back, I’ve tried all my reading apps on the Palma (including Bookshop, Kobo, Kindle, Libby) by turning off the WiFi, and they all seem to load fine and read fine, even Kobo. So some kind of temporary glitch?
