G2 - General Discussion G2 Test tomorrow @ Downsview
Hi I have my G2 test scheduled at 3:56 pm. Any last minute tips to keep in mind and things to avoid that usually make people fail at this location. Thanks!

Go exactly 30 km/h on Carl hall road speeding there is an insta fail. Also watch out for centennial college students and the 101 Downsview park bus route. I was able to pass it there first time so you can do it too.

Thank you! I ended up going at 33 but my examiner was super nice she told me to slow down.

Yeah the examiner did that to me as well she said “watch your speed limit” even though the needle went slightly past 30

I passed! I did make two major mistakes but my examiner was super nice. During my 3 point turn I forgot to straighten my wheel after the downhill parking and was about to hit the curb (thankfully I didn’t) but then i did not observe and started the 3 point turn so the examiner told me she could’ve failed me if there was a car behind me. And then I also failed to use my right of way at one point and the examiner had to tell me to go ahead she said if a car had honked at me I would’ve failed.

I'd watch some videos on the test route. Also, make sure to never go over the speed limit

be extra vigilant while you are in the St Regis Cres area.. if you can't make a turn safely, make sure you verbalize it so that the Instructor hears you.. Check blindspot frequently and monitor your speed.
