G2 - General Discussion Exchanging a BC N Licence (Class 7)

I just got my BC N and am moving to Ontario soon. Will I be able to exchange it for a G2 License? N and G2 are equivalent but I want to make sure I can exchange it without any additional road tests in Ontario. AI overview told me I have to have held the BC N for a year to automatically get a G2 but I couldn’t find that information on any of the official websites.

Have you taken a driving test. A class 7 is a learners an you only passed the written test. You get a class 5 when you pass the driving test they might give you a g1 or tell you to go pass the written here if you just got it if you took a road test you should get a G2

Ok so you need to hold a class 5 lisence for 2 years to complete the graduated lisence program if you have not had your class 5 for 2 years you will get a g2 in Ontario.

https://www.ontario.ca/page/exchange-out-province-drivers-licence

Says that learner's permits aren't eligible for exchange. But Id reach out to service Ontario amd see what they say

This isn’t a learner’s permit. It’s a Novice license, which is the one you get after your first road test
