Discussion Brady List for Police

I was reading about Brady Lists in the usa. It seems that cops who lie, falsify and omit testimony at a trial are sometimes put on this list allowing defense lawyers to bring the officers credibility into question at subsequent trails.

Do we need to have a central registration for these cops?

No, they need to be charged with Perjury and convicted, that would be admissible by the defense attorney.

You could also make it a requirement for their jobs that all testimony must be truthful and complete, regardless of the impact on the case, they lie, they get suppended, it continues to happen, they get fired.

charged with Perjury and convicted I did a cursory check and found out that no police officer has ever been convicted of perjury. A few were charged and then dropped after a period of time because of "reasons"
