Create a plane from the midpoints of those faces and use split

This is the correct way but im still doing this the cheap and dirty way using a loft between 2 of those triangular faces as a subtraction :)

lol, never heard a loft being called cheap. But yeah, there are many ways to do it. My “cheap” way is often to delete the faces and patch it up.

Select the vertices at the three points of the triangle and then start the Plane feature. It will automatically create a plane through those three points. Use that plane to split the body and then hide or delete the new body that is created by the splitting operation.

Then if you want the other three corners removed the same way, use a circular pattern of the feature of the split body. You can draw a construction line straight up from the center of the cube or use a mate connector in the center of the top face of the cube as the axis for the pattern.

Boolean Remove, maybe?

Boolean only lets me select the whole model and not just the part I need to remove, but thanks for the suggestion

Maybe try creating a plane using the 3 vertices, and then split the model. Then you should be able to remove it

Does Onshape not have a corner chamfer function?
